Absolutely devoured this book. Love Amanda Browse as an author so was thrilled to get access to her new novel. Very clever writing. Not an easy read if you know someone who is or has suffered from this problem- don't want to give too much away. Amanda's writing explores the real pain and suffering that an eating disorder causes. She does this brilliantly, managing to capture each family members anguish and struggle to deal with the issue. Freya wants the best for her daughter, Lockie the father is distraught but wants a practical solution that pulls no punches, Charlotte the older sister is supportive and Lexi is encompassed by the monster that is anorexia........there is no real solution and the struggle continues but the ending brings some comfort. Would highly recommend this book. An emotional rollercoaster.
